International Ocean Freight carrier APL announced this week the launch of their new China Bangkok Express (CBX) service. This new shortsea service will directly link Southern China and Thailand and will operate once a week.
The new service has promised the fastest connection in the shipping industry with an estimated journey time of just four days from Nansha to Bangkok, making the schedule very competitive within the market.
The service has also been devised to move specialized cargo offering reefer and breakbulk solutions.
The trans-shipment hubs of Hong Kong and Chiwan in South China allow for shippers with cargo that are destined beyond Asia to utilize APL’s global services network increasing further connectivity.
The China Bangkok Express (CBX) service will begin on April 18th leaving Hong Kong and calling at the ports of Shekou, Nansha, Bangkok and Laem Chabang.
