On March 26th, 2018 at 3 pm the M/V. MERATUS TOMINI operated by SITC completed her maiden voyage arriving and berthing at Nansha Port Phase III Terminal in China. This was the first operation for the new SITC Container Lines’ China-Indonesia express service. This new service is the initial step for further strategic cooperation between SITC & GZ Port Group.

The new schedule will service all five of the main Indonesia ports from China. SITC can now provide direct services from Nansha to Jakarta, Semarang and Surabaya with a transit time of 6 days, 8 days and 10 days respectively. New locations of Makassar and Balikpapan have been added to the service to enhance the network and appeal of SITC in Southern China, making the company an attractive option for the intra-Asia market.
