SEKO Logistics Expands Global Footprint with Six Locations in Mexico

Illinois headquartered SEKO Logistics has recently unveiled the next phase of their global expansion strategy, this most significant phase will see the company make a massive expansion into Mexico.

For the first phase, SEKO Logistics Mexico will soon be operating from Mexico City, Toluca, Queretaro, Laredo, Nuevo Laredo, McAllen, Reynosa and Monterrey.

Further warehouses and offices will open at 20 new locations as part of phase two, drastically increasing their network in the process.

SEKO is investing heavily to fulfil the growing need in the automotive, retail and aerospace sectors for logistics and infrastructure. The company recently opened a 10,000 m2 facility in the state of Mexico. March 7th, 2018 marked Inauguration of their new Ocoyoacac Distribution Center in the State of Mexico.

This is William J. Wascher’s first completed project since he took over as the Chairman for SEKO Logistics last month. His new role will require him to identify new and innovative ways to enable continued growth including initiatives like this Mexico expansion.

Mr. Wascher said about the latest phase of development, “This is a true milestone in the development of SEKO Logistics and will enable us to provide to clients in Mexico and other countries the unique forwarding, logistics and technology solutions that have successfully driven SEKO’s growth in the 40 existing countries where we already operate. The potential for us in Mexico is further enhanced by our network of nearly 60 locations right next door in the United States. Together, we offer the local and international expertise customers require and we are excited by the tremendous opportunities we see ahead.”
