The new contract will result in Ernst & Young Solutions LLP designing and develop an application for predicting and optimization. The new application named Blue 5.0 will be able to leverage data analytics through the use of machine learning. The ability of blue 5.0 to predict duration’s of pilot transiting accurately will enable terminals to become more efficient in planning their resources through better allocations.
The new application Blue 5.0 will also aid vessel charterers and operators estimate voyage duration more accurately within the Port of Singapore.
