Autoterminal, a member of the Noatum Maritime Group, recently signed a new shareholder agreement with Abu Dhabi Ports. This new agreement will lead to the creation of the Autoterminal Khalifa Port Company a joint venture that will operate and manage the RoRo/car terminal at the Port under a 15-year concession.
Located in the Port of Barcelona, Autoterminal is the leader in the Mediterranean region for multimodal car terminals and has over 25 years’ experience in the automotive industry. Abu Dhabi Ports is an integral part of the continued economic growth of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is recognized as a master developer of ports and industrial zones.
The car terminal will have an area of 300,000m2 along with a dedicated quay of 550m and will be located in Khalifa Port. The Specialized terminal will also offer their car terminal customers added-value services such as vehicle customizations, technical services and PDI Inspections.
