France based Bolloré Logistics has made a strategic acquisition in Global Solutions of Denmark. This acquisition is another part of the continued strategic development of Bolloré Logistics to increase external growth. The company ranks among the top five international logistics and freight forwarding companies in Europe and is continuing to grow and strengthen their global footprint. To date, they now boast an impressive 165 locations in 22 countries with a staff of over 5,500.

The Norwegian arm of Bolloré Logistics is already well established and this new deal will now benefit the company further as it taps into the Danish company’s network and market. With over 11 years operating in Denmark and with vast experience in airfreight, sea freight, and express business lines especially in the Europe-Asia regions this will be a great investment for Bolloré.

Bolloré Logistics CEO Europe, Henri Le Gouis commented on the acquisition: “This new location will enable us to better serve our key account customers in Denmark and more generally in Scandinavia. We will support Danish companies in their international development and logistics projects, particularly in Africa, the continent of the future with strong market opportunities, where we operate as the 1st integrated logistics network.”

“We are also aiming to strengthen our range of solutions and services for the Aid & Relief sector, which is strongly represented in Denmark” added Bolloré Logistics CEO Northern Europe, David Smith.

Finally, Founder and Managing Director of Global Solutions Denmark, Thomas Toubro expressed his delight with the new deal “satisfied and honored to be now part of the big Bolloré family Group. I am very confident for the future, and believe in our ability to elevate Bolloré Logistics to the rank of the leading transport and logistics operators in Scandinavia.”
