DKSH Expands and Upgrades with New Innovation Center in Bangkok, Thailand

A new state of the art food and beverage innovation center built by DKSH has recently opened in Bangkok, Thailand. The upgrade and expansion by DKSH will help to strengthen the innovation services it offers to its clients and partners in the bakery, dairy, confectionery, beverage, nutritional supplements and processed food segments.

This new innovation center will focus on the development of food and beverage formulations while providing professional and experienced technical assistance to its business partners and clients within the Kingdom. The facility currently researches and develops over 200 formulations per year along with over 150 prototypes including unique bakery products, transfat-free croissants and low sugar muffins; fruits and vegetable drinks and greek yoghurt, beverage and dairy products such as functional drinks; and savory products such as egg-free mayonnaise, reduced sodium instant noodles and low fat sausages.

The new facility now joins DKSH’s growing network of food and beverage innovation centers throughout Asia and Europe, which includes 14 application laboratories. The Group says the center is home to some of the sectors most innovative equipment used for development and analysis. A vast range of specialized services is available these include stability testing, product ideation and development support, formulation application, sensory evaluation, pilot trials and technical training.

In addition, specialists at the center work in tandem with regulatory consultation team to provide assistance and support for the complexities in the regulations of the food and beverage industry within the Kingdom.

The new facilities and high-end equipment, run by our skilled specialists, will strengthen our technical service offering to our growing customer base and allow us to create many new business opportunities as a strategic partner to our clients.”
