Maersk Announces New South Pacific Express

Maersk Line is launching a new ‘South Pacific Express’ service between Oceania and the West Coast of South America.

Starting from July 2016, Australian and New Zealand exporters can enjoy all the benefits of a market exclusive gateway to a number of strategic ports in Chile, Peru, Colombia and Mexico.

Maersk claims the speed of the service is ‘best-in-class’ with the fastest service to the West Coast of South America; 13 days Tauranga to San Antonio; 22 days Brisbane to San Antonio. It has comprehensive coverage and connections into seven regional key ports and logistical entry points to help optimize supply chains.
