Kuehne + Nagel To Manage CNH’s Center

Kuehne + Nagel To Manage CNH’s Center

CNH Industrial, a global leader in the capital goods sector, has awarded a two year contract to Kuehne + Nagel for managing its agricultural and commercial vehicle spare parts supply chain requirements in Shanghai, China. CNH Industrial selected Kuehne + Nagel after proposing an efficient logistics center solution which will consolidate two of CNH Industrial’s separate business operations into one single distribution center. Due to the complexity within the two operations, IT Systems will be deployed to greatly enhance transparency and monitoring of the operational performance.

The 2,550m2 non-bonded logistics center in Fengxian, Shanghai, has been strategically positioned near transport links to support CNH Industrial’s domestic distribution requirements across China. In addition, Kuehne + Nagel is also looking after CNH Industrial’s customs needs.

“We are very pleased that CNH Industrial has selected Kuehne + Nagel to manage their parts facility in Shanghai. We will focus on delivering operational excellence to support CNH Industrial even better serve its Chinese customers. This new contract is a result of our growth strategy in China and a further milestone in expanding the long-term global relationship between the Kuehne + Nagel Group and CNH Industrial.” said Peer Rasmussen, Director Shanghai Cluster, Kuehne + Nagel.

With over 67,000 employees at more than 1,200 locations in over 100 countries, the Kuehne + Nagel Group is one of the world’s leading logistics companies. Its strong market position lies in the seafreight, airfreight, contract logistics and overland businesses, with a clear focus on providing IT-based integrated logistics solutions
