Attending the opening: Heinz Senger-Weiss, board member at Gebrüder Weiss (L.) and Marcel Meyer, Managing Director Weiss-Röhlig UAE (R.).

Weiss-Röhlig United Arab Emirates (UAE) celebrated its grand opening of their new logistics facility in Jebel Ali Freezone South in Dubai. This 4.5 Million USD investment is a strategic milestone to reach new service level and to attract new and old clients to grow together with Weiss-Röhlig.

The total area covered is 10,000 sqm, which provides covered space for more than 8,000 pallets in ambient and temperature controlled storage compartments. This state-of-the-art facility will give the opportunity to provide Service Excellence and will be a gateway for Far East and Europe. Besides freight forwarding and customs services, Weiss-Röhlig UAE will now offer logistics and project services out of its new terminal.

“This logistics terminal is supporting the vision and the will to provide outstanding services around the world. Our clients benefit from a one stop solution in logistics, customs clearance and freight forwarding. As we say in Weiss-Röhlig: We are where you are.” Marcel Meyer, Managing Director Weiss-Röhlig UAE, says. The warehouse is strategically located in the South district of Jebel Ali Freezone close to Gate 12.
