Evergreen Line was named the recipient of the 2016 LOG-NET E-Commerce Excellence Award presented Tuesday, March 1, in Long Beach, CA, at the Trans Pacific Maritime conference. This is the second consecutive year and the fourth time overall Evergreen Line has won this award.
LOG-NET president John Motley said, “The award was given in recognition of Evergreen’s outstanding achievement in processing customer electronic information. The competition is compelling and analyzes customer set-up, completeness, timeliness, accuracy and deployment across customers of multiple sizes and geographic domains. Even as the industry becomes more sophisticated in its electronic offerings, Evergreen continues to do a superior job in the face of great competition. This award recognizes these successes.”
Roy Amalfitano President of Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) said: “As a back-to-back recipient of LOG-NET’s e-Commerce award, it is an amazing affirmation of how the Evergreen team worldwide continues to work on behalf of Evergreen’s valued customers.” He continued: “We at Evergreen place great emphasis on what our customers need to remain competitive. E-commerce has been a company and customer priority since it even became a factor in shipping.
Evergreen in 2003 and 2004 was named LOG-NET’s first ever recipient of this award. In the following years, Evergreen was among the top five and now in 2015 and 2016 came out on top.
